Attendance

For primary through lower elementary beginners, a parent is required to attend all lessons with the student.   The lessons are scheduled on a semester basis;  please let me know if you foresee any conflicts.

I will make up any lessons which I am responsible for cancelling. One make-up lesson will be allowed during the semester for illness or family emergency only.  Other general conflicts will not be made up, but I will reschedule lessons in advance.   I cannot schedule make-up lessons after a missed lesson time has passed.  Missed group lessons cannot be made up.

Fees

Payment

Tuition is due on the first lesson of the semester.  If you prefer a monthly payment, I will divide the semester payment by the number of months, and the check must be received by the first of the month.   Limited scholarships are available to continuing students during the fall semester, and any other help I can offer will be based on the family commitment and progress of the student.

I do not offer refunds of tuition mid-semester.  This ensures the viability of my studio as a whole, as well as ensuring that each student has the time and support that he or she needs to get the best start in music.
